I had a lot of fun making these. I tucked the frog into my dad’s birthday card, and he absolutely loved it! My dad enjoys paper crafts and the little games I create, so I’m always making fun things to surprise him with.
This collection includes an articulated frog and a 3D layered bluebird. The frog can be assembled by the recipient using their own brads if they have them, or with a simple needle and thread, which works just as well and is something most people already have on hand. I do not recommend mailing brads inside the envelope.
Both designs are sized to fit comfortably in most envelopes and lay flat for mailing. This allows you to send them without the bulk that would come from pre-cut and pre-assembled pieces. The recipient can cut and assemble the crafts themselves, but the designs also look attractive as printed cards even before they are cut out.
For best results, print on cardstock.
